Mediumship

Development is to find your own feet in life as well as the after life. I have been working as a platform medium since 2002 throughout the East Midlands area of the UK. I have always been interested in what happens to us once we die, what are ghosts, spirits, why do things move seemly on their own accord and why do I know things either about people that I have never met or about areas I have never been to. It was after my fathers passing that I went into a Spiritualist Church, asked a couple of questions and the next thing I found myself sitting in an open circle seeing things that no one else seemed to. But what was great I through going a few more times found that people understood me, understood that there are things that we can sense that other people may not be able to, and more to the point, what I saw around people and as I told them they too understood what I was talking about. I of course did not have a clue to begin with and through sitting in development groups I understood that that was not my role to understand, mine is just to give, to give what I get. The more I think about it the more I get it all wrong.

If I can give any bit of advise and that is listen and follow your gut. We all have the answers we just don’t want to hear the answers for they may not be the ones that we want.

Reflexology

Reflexology

Reflexology is a way to massage the internal organs of the body through the feet, hands, as well as the face and ears. This form of therapy has been done for hundred of years and yet the full benefits of Reflexology are now only beginning to be understood.

A Reflexologist uses hands only to apply pressure to the feet. For each person the application and the effect of the therapy is unique. Sensitive, trained hands can detect tiny deposits and imbalances in the feet, and by working on these points the Reflexologist can release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the whole body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and elimination is improved. This gentle therapy encourages the body to heal itself, often counteracting a lifetime of misuse.

If you have private healthcare you may be able to claim back your treatments with a Refelxologist, it is always worth asking.

I am also a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), who have articles about reflexology as well letting you know the latest news. Through AoR I am also on the register for Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and AoR has representation at the Parliamentary Group for Integrated and Complementary Healthcare (PGICH). About Me

100_3523
I have been working as a Spiritual Medium for over 12 years, working in churches, and centres as well as on a one to one basis. I have also graduated from Derby University as a Complementary Therapist working with Aromatherapy and Reflexology. These aspects of my life roll over to the everyday, using the oils to enhance each day and I use the Reflexology to note the changes in my body. The mediumship I use to gain a better understanding of myself and of those around me. As we always on the search of why are we here and for what purpose.

From this website you will be able to see that I enjoy working with my mediumship which is always expanding, why not look at the label of Mediumship and Psychic Art.  Psychic Art is something that I enjoy doing very much and one that I feel I am able to give something physical back to the ones who have a reading.  I have and do the following; church events (such as services, suppers and speicals), one to one readings either face to face or through Skype, events, one to one psychic art readings, and party bookings.  If you would like to find out more or would like to ask me any questions why not drop me a line using the form below or call me.

As for the complementary therapies that I carry out, I too enjoy them working with clients and seeing them develop and see the empowerment that they can attain.  If you have not come across either Aromatherapy or Reflexology theny why not try a taster session.  For more information please contact me and I will be happy to answer any queries.

Aromatherapy

“Nothing is more memorable than a smell. One scent can be unexpected, momentary and fleeting, yet conjure up a childhood summer beside a lake in the mountains.” Diane Ackerman

“Aromatherapy is more thoroughly defined as the skilled and controlled use of essential oils for physical and emotional health and well-being. Science is now confirming what has been known for centuries: essential oils have healing properties on both physical and emotional levels. Absorbed through the skin and via the olfactory-brain connection through inhalation, they have been considered among the most therapeutic and rejuvenating of all botanical extracts throughout the ages.”
― Valerie Gennari Cooksley, Aromatherapy: Soothing Remedies to Restore, Rejuvenate and Heal

Essential oils are highly fragrant, and volatile, they are extracted from flowers, leaves, twigs, bark, roots and fruits of many common plants. The essential oils have many different properties and as research has shown can be stimulants, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, relaxants, calming, soothing and uplifting. Aromatherapy therefore has the ability to affect the emotions, feelings, help bodily symptoms and work psychologically.
Aromatherapy is used for a wide range of problems, including pain relief; anxiety and stress related conditions; insomnia; headaches, arthritis; rheumatism and menstrual problems. It is sometimes available in maternity services and is widely used in palliative and cancer care in hospitals and hospices.

Research indicates that aromatherapy massage may be helpful for the short-term relief of anxiety and that certain essential oils may relieve some symptoms associated with dementia. There is some promising evidence that tea tree oil could be useful in treating acne and fungal infections.
Aromatherapy can benefit almost everyone, helping a wide range of disorders. Essential oils must be diluted and used with care. When used correctly, aromatherapy is safe for everyone.

I like to give everyone a personalised treatment, this entails having a consultation and treatment when you first book in with me (unless it is for a taster).  I always allow two hours for this as it gives time to go through everything and to have a great treatment.  Each session is personalised and so therefore I do not use a ready made up blend of oils.  I offer essential oils for you to smell, and you tell me if you like them or not, and from there a blend is made.  This is where the wonderment of Aromatherapy comes in for no two sessions are the same.
